Glenray Industries, a long standing Australian Disability Enterprise in Bathurst, has celebrated the dedicated service of employees at the Glenray Laundry Bathurst.
Two of the supported employees, Graham Edwards & Michelle Higgins have just achieved a significant milestone reaching 30 years of service to Glenray in the Laundry.
The whole team joined in congratulating these and other dedicated workers on their service to Glenray with a special presentation from the Glenray President of the Board, Brian Adams, followed by a morning tea.
These supported employees are highly regarded amongst their peers and have worked in many different areas of the laundry over the years and have become knowledgeable and skilled in all facets of the business. Graham says that his favorite part of the job is unloading the bags of linen and the training he receives. While Michelle enjoys working on the rollers, and was excited to meet new people and make new friends when she first started at Glenray.
Glenray thanks these employees for their service and appreciates the dedication and work ethic shown in this achievement.
As a supported employee these people living with a disability have significant challenges in finding and maintaining employment.
